The Artist Behind the Warning
Randy Arneson spent decades at the intersection of art and aviation. His career began at Sears and Roebuck as a commercial artist before his passion for flight led him into the cockpit, and eventually to become a Flight Instructor.
Through the 1980s onward, Randy channeled both worlds into his beloved aviation cartoon series Roger, Roger, contributing countless illustrations to the Midwest Flyer Magazine and the 99s Women Pilots Association. His work made the skies a little more human.
In 2006 Randy was awarded the Aviation Art Award from the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame.
That conviction is what drove Randy, alongside his son and business development partner John Arneson, to create All the People You'll Meet When You Drink and Drive, a public safety poster built not to lecture, but to tell the complete, honest story of an OVI arrest in 20 illustrated panels.
Arneson Studio, LLC is a veteran-owned small business based in Toledo, Ohio. Every product is rooted in the belief that a picture on the right wall, in a courtroom, a classroom, a BMV waiting room, can change a life before the first drink is poured.
